Everything a law firm’s website must have
DigiAcción designs websites for lawyers and law firms of any specialty, in Spain, Europe and beyond. Websites that convey trust, rank on Google and turn visits into inquiries.

Design that builds trust
Sober, current design with the signals a client looks for before trusting: real team, bar membership, specialties and the firm in plain sight.

Structure by practice area
One page per practice area: each specialty becomes its own doorway in from Google, not a line lost inside a long, generic list of services.
Legal copywriting included
We write your website’s copy: clear for the client, rigorous for the sector and reviewed by you. No jargon that scares, no fluff that pads.
Inquiry one click away
A short form, phone and WhatsApp in view, with confidentiality handled with care. People seeking a lawyer are in a hurry: make it easy.
Legal SEO as standard
Speed, legal-services structured data and authority signals from day one. Your website is born ready for a demanding, scrutinized sector.
Multilingual for global clients
Multilingual websites with the correct technical setup for firms with international clients. We do this every week with real law firms.

How does someone who has never needed a lawyer choose one?
Understanding this orders every decision on the website, and almost no law firm site is built on it.
The client looking for you usually arrives at a bad moment: a complicated estate, a dismissal, an audit, a claim. They don’t know the law, they don’t know what to ask, and above all they can’t tell a strong professional from a mediocre one. So they don’t evaluate your technical competence, because they can’t. They evaluate signals.
The signals are always the same: whether the firm looks real (team photos, a physical address, a bar registration number), whether it routinely handles cases like theirs, whether it explains their problem without making them feel stupid, and whether getting in touch commits them to anything. They open three or four sites in tabs, dismiss within seconds the ones that smell of templates or cold forms, and write to one.
The practical consequence is that a law firm’s website isn’t competing to be the prettiest or the most comprehensive. It’s competing to be the one that reduces the uncertainty of someone frightened. At DigiAcción we build legal websites from that principle rather than from the service catalog.
What should a law firm website look like? One page per practice area
The most widespread mistake in the sector is a single services page listing every specialty. Google ranks pages, not lists, and nobody searches for “general practice lawyer”: they search for “inheritance lawyer foreign will” or “unfair dismissal claim”.
Every practice area needs its own page, and a good one has a recognizable structure: it names the problem in the client’s words rather than the statute’s; it explains how it gets resolved and roughly what timeframes apply; it anticipates the three or four questions that client always raises on the first call; and it makes clear what happens in the initial consultation.
This architecture does two things at once. It ranks for specific searches with hiring intent, which are the ones that bring cases, and it converts better than any generic page because the visitor feels they’ve landed exactly on their issue. It’s also the foundation our legal marketing service works on afterward: without practice area pages, there’s nothing to rank.
What does Google value in legal website content?
Legal content falls into the category of topics that can affect a person’s life, money, or rights. Google is especially demanding there, and it prioritizes content with demonstrable experience and authorship over content that is well optimized but anonymous.
Translated into concrete decisions on the site: every blog article signed by the lawyer who wrote it, with their full name and a link to a real profile; team profiles with qualifications, bar registration, years in practice, and the areas they genuinely work in; structured data markup declaring that you’re a law firm, who its lawyers are, and what services you provide.
That same work has a second effect that is starting to matter as much as the first. When someone asks ChatGPT or Perplexity for a lawyer specializing in something, those models answer with firms whose identity and specialization are clearly declared and verified across several sources. It’s the raw material for our AI chat visibility service, and in the legal sector almost nobody is working on it yet.
Confidentiality: the contact form on a law firm website
Here’s a detail that separates a site built by sector specialists from one built by someone who has never worked with firms.
When a prospective client writes to a lawyer, they often put sensitive things in the message itself: names, amounts, family situations. That content ends up in your inbox, on your server, and sometimes in a WordPress database nobody has ever reviewed. A legal contact form needs an encrypted connection, a data processing notice that can actually be understood rather than a wall of text, express consent, and a clear policy on how long those messages are retained.
There’s also a design decision that changes conversion: don’t ask for everything at once. A form demanding ten fields and the details of the case scares off anyone still hesitating. A short first contact works far better, with an explicit promise of confidentiality, leaving the details for the conversation. And if your firm works over WhatsApp, it’s worth stating clearly what can and can’t be discussed there.
What can a lawyer’s website say? Advertising and professional conduct
Lawyers can advertise, and that hasn’t been in dispute for years. But there are limits the website has to respect, and an agency unaware of them can land you in trouble over a catchy headline.
The general principles we apply: no guaranteeing outcomes and no suggesting every case gets won; no real client details without authorization, not even in an apparently anonymous success story; respect for professional privilege in any published example; and no disparaging comparisons with other firms.
The specific rules vary by bar association and jurisdiction, so we review them with you before publishing. Our experience is that these limits don’t weaken the message: they force you to build trust with useful content instead of promises, which happens to be what works best anyway.
Websites for law firms with international clients
This is one of our genuine specialisms, and it isn’t brochure language. We maintain law firm websites publishing in Spanish, English, and Turkish, with new content going out every week.
If your firm handles immigration, foreign investment, non-residents, or clients relocating between countries, multilingual isn’t an add-on: it’s the channel. And doing it properly doesn’t mean translating the menu. Each language needs its own URL, its own metadata, and correctly cross-referenced hreflang tags, or Google splits authority badly across versions and none of them ranks. On top of that, searches change between languages: someone searching in English doesn’t use literal equivalents of the Spanish terms, so each version needs its own keyword research.
Web design for lawyers and legal marketing: how they fit together
A well-built site converts whoever arrives. Marketing is what makes people arrive.
This service is the first piece of a system. Next come organic search, which in the legal sector is the most profitable source of cases over the medium term, and Google Ads campaigns, which bring enquiries from week one when there’s urgency (and in law there often is). Meta and TikTok campaigns work better for building awareness of the firm and for high-volume specialties than for direct acquisition. And video is especially powerful here: seeing and hearing a lawyer explain something clearly builds in two minutes a trust that text takes far longer to construct.
And if the firm’s visual identity needs bringing up to standard, we handle it within the same project. You can commission the website alone, of course. But the firm that works the complete system is the one that ends up dominating its specialty.
How much does a law firm website cost?
A professional law firm website, with a structure built around practice areas, technical SEO as standard, and speed and security resolved, starts at 1,500 euros.
What moves the budget from there:
- The number of practice areas and services needing their own page.
- Languages, which is the heaviest factor, because each version is built and optimized separately.
- Functionality: online booking, a private client area, or integration with your case management software.
- Whether we write the copy or work from what you already have.
Ask for your proposal and we’ll give it to you fixed, with no line items appearing midway through.
How long does it take to build a law firm website?
Four to eight weeks for most projects, depending on practice areas, languages, and complexity. If you’re quick with materials and approvals, that timeline shortens considerably.
And if your current site already ranks, relax, because migrations are our specialty. We build the redesign in a parallel environment and launch with a complete redirect map, URL by URL, so you don’t lose a single position along the way. That care is precisely the difference between a migration and an accident. Less talk, more action.
Every visit that leaves your website without contacting is a case another firm signs.
Frequently asked questions about law firm marketing
